An episode in history

It was 2002.. when I broke my shoulder bone. I broke my shoulder bone on Shrove Tuesday. Me and my family  went to Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. There were so many people. I sledge down the hill several times. Until it finally came to a fatal sliding. Then I broke my bone.. ouch, it was painful. My aunt took me to the hospital. I was crying, I can't remember more. For now i'm right as rain :)

  1. Hi Kristel,

A memorable piece of your personal history, complete with following the instructions for the task: having at least 10 sentences and a year number. You have added very descriptive photos, too - a great way to get your reader's attention. Also, using the idiom 'right as rain' is cool. Good job!

Here are also some learning points from this text that you can take with you for the future.

    1. When writing down the word for 'mina' in English, capital 'I' is generally used, unless it's a very unofficial communication.

    2. To say 'Mäest alla laskma' (tähenduses 'kelgutama') it would be better to use the expression 'sledge down the hill'. In English 'let down' means 'alt vedama'.

    3. To express 'autchhhh' in English: it is written 'ouch' (in more informal communication you can sure add more h-s to make it more emotional :)
